Purely began with a simple, personal experience. Founder Nokwanda Candice Mzobe was tired of the discomfort and irritation caused by the sanitary pads she found on the market. During her search for a better option, she discovered a hidden truth: many pads contain chemicals and bleaches that can irritate the skin and may contribute to long-term health concerns, information that isn’t always shared openly
Determined to create a safer, gentler alternative, Nokwanda launched Purely, an organic, skin-friendly sanitary pad designed with women’s well-being at the centre.
Founded in 2021 and officially launched in 2025, Purely is more than just a product. It’s a movement built on education, empowerment, and community. Through our subscription model, Purely supports women by making menstrual care simple, reliable, and informed. Every woman deserves comfort, confidence, and the freedom to make choices that protect her health.
